The mister men are a group of clinicians who came together about a year ago to see what could be done about the excessive bullying and ethical bankruptcy within the NT health department.

A few of the mister men attended the Prison Songs documentary which was shown during the recent Darwin Festival. The general consensus was that it wasn't bad, apart from the awful grating dirge described in the programming as the 'Songs' bit. Take that out and it would have been watchable.

You know what its like out there on the internet. Everyone is trying to snatch 5 seconds of fame or peddling dreams like snake oil salesmen back in the day. 

Then there's the press:

'Len Notaras signed an agreement to double aboriginal employment. He smiled like he meant it...'

Every year, in mid to late July, this mister man takes himself and family off to the Darwin show. And every year he leaves home knowing that the three or four hours wasted there will never again be lived. 

The truly awful spectacle reinforces how small town and small of mind Darwin is. From this shallow gene pool the health department's future leaders are to be selected, trained and foisted upon an unsuspecting and long suffering general public.
