The mister men are a group of clinicians who came together about a year ago to see what could be done about the excessive bullying and ethical bankruptcy within the NT health department.
The organisation is run by a group of self interested rusted on managers who work together to crush all forms of dissent. These managers are protected by a corrupt human resources department who run biased investigations designed to protect the management. Grievances to the OCPE are a waste of time. Not a single grievance to them from a health department employee has ever been upheld. The processes are a sham to create the illusion of fairness where none exists at all.
More recently, managers have used mandatory notifications to AHPRA to place targets under investigation by the national regulator by making false allegations. This has led to clinicians contemplating and, in a few cases, committing suicide. Checks and balances contained within the Commissioner OCPE Employment Instructions, Code of Conduct and the PSEMA are deliberately ignored.
In the end, after a lot of talking we came up with a blog. It's been a useful way to keep our fellow clinicians and non clinical colleagues informed as to what is going on around the organisation. And, because we are insiders, we know who the perpetrators are because they are frequently known to us too. Although we write like insiders, we always protect our sources. We won't run a story unless the informant is totally protected.
The organisation obviously don't like us because we are challenging their culture. They are threatened by the truth being exposed. They don't want their people learning about the tricks they play on their staff. So they have run off and invented a few pointless and ridiculous appropriate behaviour workshops, printed off a few posters and think that shows they care about change.
In a few places, well known bullies have gone quiet waiting for the dust to settle. But we know the pattern and the modus operandi. We know exactly how their game is played and we have every intention of sharing it with our readership. We believe that this information is important to counter balance the lack of transparency within the organisation. It's going on across the Territory; same game, same unfair rules, same corrupt outcomes.
Slowly but surely, the mister men intend to open this organisation up to scrutiny. We have barely got started.
As of today, since we started the blog on 10 July, there have been 27,755 page views.
We hope you enjoy our stories and keep checking back. Here's the link to copy to your personal devices and to share with your colleagues both inside the NT and to those working elsewhere:
the mister men
Bloody well keep it up mister men because there is no one else sticking up for the staff in the department. The district managers are a pack of bullying scum and are surrounded by more bullies in the offices in ASH and Cas Plaza. They stay for ever and contribute nothing except mind games, threats to report people to ahpra and malicious gossip. There are a lot of good resources and links in the comments too. The organisation is in the dark ages as far as staff support, compassion and professionalism. Out where I'm working we discuss the articles you post to the point of exhaustion. It's double standards to the point of puking with these management bastards. At least they give you plenty to work with because they like having their toast buttered on both sides and will not change. As someone else said in another post “support” in this organisation is code for 'you’re gonna cop it mate'.
ReplyDeleteFunny you should mention the dreadful scamtastic OCPE. It reminded me of the former manager Peter Frendin who went to them for justice and got – just like all the others – rejected. He was forced to take the bastards to the Supreme Court where the fuckers came to their senses and paid him out. Frendin was a general manager in Central. He had a good reputation and kept some of the other lunatics like Gill and BB at bay. Look how things fell to bits after he was driven out on a fake order called a section 35 notice. He was forcibly transferred to the jail and then searched and got another job. However, after he left remote, four petitions were commenced from different professional groups within the organisation and were submitted to Alison Anderson. Anderson passed it all on to Lambley and she sent in a please explain. That went to Walford, who forwarded it on to Katekar who then wrote a pack of lies about Frendin's poor performance and weak leadership. By dint of error it was emailed to Frendin's wife. Of course Frendin was a great performer who had never had a single performance issue ever.
ReplyDelete1. Why did Katekar behave so dishonestly and lie in an intended report to Lambley?
2. Why did Walford tell Katekar to lie?
3. Why did the OCPE reject the grievance?
4. Why did the health department cover the whole thing up if they were in the right?
5. Why did Frendin get a pay out if he was in the wrong?
6. Why did all the corrupt fat cat liars keep their jobs?
The more you dig with the health department the more you realise how disgusting they are.
A very good example of how these so called senior managers think and feel. They are quite simply liars for hire. They will say, do or witness anything as they are told to. They lie, write false reports, bully, ruin lives and reputations and think nothing of it. The excuse when they are caught is, “I was told to do it.” It's the classic Nuremburg defence of following superiors' orders. One does wonder whether whilst they live out the dream planning yuppie trips to Paris or Nepal with their cronies whether they ever think or concern themselves with the devastation they engender. If this is an example of what they will do to one of their own, imagine what they might do to an enemy. One suspects they just move on to the next target with not a skerrick of concern for anyone but themselves. Truth is playing catch up to falsity here and very timely it is too. Good work mister men, you have my support.
DeleteJust look what the NT GOV tried to do (Education, but they're all the same) to that poor whistleblower teacher Ferguson who stood up to them and their bullying cronies.
ReplyDeleteBut he survived and is still fighting on, stronger than ever. Studying law apparently.
It can be done. But they will try to tell you no one wins. They lie about that too.
